You’re welcome Emmerey! Yes I agree on all your points. The trick with the bathroom is to have that technology but incorporating it into the design so that it isn’t prevalent. Unlike other spaces in the rooms and hotel as a whole where technology can be overtly, explicitly on show – I think it needs a bit more of a delicate touch in a bathroom. As for minimalism – I’m not so sure it is popular right now. There is a big trend of giving guests a taste of the locale – whatever that might be, and it can’t be conveyed with a traditionally ‘minimalist’ style. But then, like all design, it comes down to subjectivity! Thanks for reading!

great article and I take great pride in having spearheaded the concept and design phases with a great architect such as ERTIM on behalf of a visionary investor and developer such as M Marandi.
I have booked my flight for June 2018 and can’t wait to have a French dinner with a distinct Cognac right from the source.
The Hotel Chais Monnet project will be a game-changer for Cognac that will be an immense catalyst for Cognac and the region.

Re Marrakech, the hotel has disappeared from the Hyatt Website back in August 16, it was due to open in Autumn ’16…
